Ghajjar ka Halwa

Ingredients:
3 cups grated carrots
3-4 spoons ghee
2 1/2 cups milk (regular or high fat)
2 1/2 cups Powdered sugar
Cardamon
Almonds
Pista

Method:
1. Heat the pan and add 3-4 spoons of ghee. Add the grated carrots and toss them for few minutes until cooked.
2. Add 2 ½ cups of milk and stir at regular intervals for about 35-40 minutes till the carrots have almost absorbed all the milk.
3. Add a pinch of crushed cardamom and 2 ½ cups of sugar and stirring continuously on a low flame.
4. The halwa is ready once dry. Garnish with almonds and/or pistachio and serve warm.

You can also use high fat milk instead of regular milk to make it more richer.
