Veggie Puffs


A craving for mongini's veggie puff's leads to a simple and easy route of creating this tasty snack.

Ingredients:
2 Potato’s
½ cup green peas
Green chilli paste
Ginger paste
Turmeric powder
Corriander powder
Lemon juice
Salt
Corriander
Oil
Pillsbury crescent rolls (frozen section in target)

Method:

  1. In pan heat oil, add chopped potato’s and green peas and cook completely.
  2. Add green chilli, ginger paste, followed by turmeric, coriander, lemon juice and salt.
  3. Finally when the mixture is cooked add some coriander leaves.
  4. Pre-heat the oven to 350F.
  5. Take the sheet of Pillsbury crescent roll sheets and add the stuffing mixture and roll. ( or follow the instructions on the the packaging container)
  6. Place all these on a baking sheet or a tray.
  7. Once the puffs begin to turn golden brown, remove them from the oven.

Serve the puffs hot with green coriander chutney or ketchup. 

Perfect for a Sunday breakfast or a snack.
