Mediterranean veggie pizza


Ingredients:
Pita (Flatbread can be used as an alternative)
Hummus (any flavored can be used)
Onions
Green pepper
Olives
Mozzarella cheese
Oregano
Red chilli flakes
Olive oil

Method:
1.      Spread olive oil on both sides of the pita (or flatbread).
2.      Spread hummus on top the pita. I have tried this with plain, roasted red pepper and garden vegetable hummus. All of which turned out great.
3.      Place thinly chopped onions, green pepper, olives and finally the mozzarella cheese
4.      Place this in the oven for about 8-12 minutes at about 350F
5.      Once the cheese starts melting and the base begins to turn brown remove from the oven and cut into 4 slices.
6.      Add oregano and red chilli flakes as needed.
You can even add some Tabasco to add some spicy flavor to the pizza.
Perfect as an appetizer or a snack.

You  can use any veggies instead of what I mentioned here.
